Not all guest ranch fly fishing is the same. We divide the 4UR Ranch waters into 20 "stations." Each Colorado evening as dinner winds down, Aaron Christensen, ranch manager and fly fishing guide, escorts a shake bottle from table to table. The evening lottery has begun. The lottery winner chooses the 1/3 mile station he would prefer to fish the next morning. Other anglers follow until the lowest lottery draw selects. Afternoons, the order is reversed, assuring every angler fishes with privacy on prime water almost every day.
